Q: Once I sign up for a course, how long do I have to complete it?

A: After payment is confirmed, you will automatically be granted access to the course. You have up to 60 days to complete all aspects of the course.

Q: What if I complete the course before the 60 day time period is up? Will I still have access to the course?

A: After you complete and pass the final exam, you will be issued a certificate of completion via email within two business days.  You will no longer have access to the course after that time.

Q: What if I sign up for a course, then do not complete it after 60 days time. Will I get an extension?

A: After 60 days time, you will no longer have access to the course as your course registration period will automatically expire.  Extensions will be granted on a case by case basis, based on emergencies outside of your control.

Q: Will NOVA have any additional courses or is what you see all that you have.

A: NOVA staff are continually researching and designing new courses on an ongoing basis.  Check back often, or sign up for our "new course notification" to find out when new courses are available.  If you have an idea for a course, please let us know, and we will present it to our review board for consideration.

Q: I took a course and I lost my certificate.  Can you send me another?

A: Just contact us and someone will send you a new certificate within two business days.

Q: I’ve been using your peer forum and would like to contact someone I’ve been having a discussion with.  Why does his profile not include his email address or phone number?

A: For privacy, and to limit salespeople, you can only contact a peer using the email and private messaging function on this website.  If you would like to divulge more personal information about yourself, including contact information outside of this website, that is at your sole discretion.

Q: If I purchase a course, can all my co-workers take the course too?

A: Only one person will get a certificate and credit and that is the person that registered for the course.  If your co-workers think the course is interesting and would like to take it, they may sign up themselves.  If your employer or utility would like several people to take the same course, please contact us for group rates.
