Calculating the volume of a pipe involves the following formula, ∏ x r2 x L where ∏ is pi (the mathematical constant) r is the radius of the pipe (half of your inside diameter) and L is the length of the pipe. In order to calculate the volume, insert the length of your pipe and the radius of your pipe (half of your inside diameter) into the formula below. The answer will be in cubic units.
Please ensure you use the same units for both radius and length to obtain the proper answer.
For example, if you use feet, the answer will be cubic feet. If you use meters the answer will be cubic meters.
