Registration at NOVA is an easy and simple process.  Registration is a requirement to take a NOVA course, but you only have to do it once.  When you have your registration user name and password, it is used to log in so you can take subsequent courses.

There are two areas of the website where you can either log in or register. The first is right on the home page of the site, and it looks like this:

Clicking the register hyperlink on either place will bring you to the registration screen. The registration screen looks like this:

*If you do not have an email address, you can get a free one by using a service such as Hotmail or Gmail.

Fill out all of the required fields and then hit the "register" button.  You must ensure that the email address you entered is valid and you are able to check it. The system will send you an activation code. You must access your email, and click on the hyperlink to activate your account.  This ensures that you are a real person and not an internet bot trying to gain access to the site.  After that, you may log into the site with your user name and password any time you want to access or purchase a new course.

If you lose your user name or password, you can recover it by clicking on the 'forgot login?' hyperlink in the login/register module of the front page:

Simply click on the checkbox to recover what you lost, either your user name or password, and instructions will pop up. Follow the simple step by step instructions to recover your user name or password.
